Synopsis:
A Friend who believed he was his own, who came to know that the heinous act he did to his daughter, went out to see him helplessly, not knowing what to do. When he gets there, he sees his son, and then unexpected heart-touching things happen. This film is based on many true stories around us, explores the impact of such strenuous acts, and questions our social and personal conscience.

Director Statement
When I heard the story, it was the helplessness of the children that struck me. Those two kids are the hope of tomorrow. The one who understands the depth of the mistake his father made and stands by his friend. She firmly believed that her father would be with her even if she told him what happened to her. When I read this story over and over again, I didn't feel like those characters needed a name or a sound. This is something that can happen in any country at any time. Let them speak so quietly.

Synopsys:
Kapila and Bhargav leading a happy and busy life with their kids. One-day morning she gets up following a disturbed nightmare of someone coming inside the room to disturb her daughter. She becomes very upset in the morning and Bhargav is trying to calm her down

Director Statement
When I read the story “Izhajanthukaal” by Maya, I thought this is the one that needs to bring in front of the audience. The theme in this movie is a typical scenario of a woman who lives in Indian culture and wants to somehow come out from an unsupportive relationship and in the second part of her life, though she is happily living with her husband and children, still she gets haunted by her past.
I had later discussed with Meera and Dileep to see the possibility of bringing this story as a short film, Meera committed to writing a screenplay. She came back to me after few days with screenplay and we sat together, discussed, and shot it in a beautiful location with a village house and its surroundings.
